All of our projects begin with Design Consultation. Our Creative Director or designer will gather background information on your business, your target market and your goals. Based on this information, the designer suggests several creative possibilities for the direction of the site. Learn more about our design process by clicking About Us/Method.
Mockup / Design – Evoq Design's designer will create a color scheme that bests represent your company or organization. Based on your feedback, the designer will produce mock-up(s) of your site design. Once approved, this design will be used to create every page on the site. Please note each mock up is a 1 page layout designed to give you an example of what the web page will look like. The additional pages of the website will not be completed until this is approved.
Revision – If, after you see the combined color scheme, site layout, design and navigation system - but BEFORE any sub pages are created - you don't like it, you can request changes up to the design time included for no extra cost. Subsequent changes that take longer than the included design time will incur additional charges.
Site Creation / Addition of Content – The content you provide for your site will be added to the site. Evoq Design will scan up to 5 images, photographs or artwork per web page.

Terms and Conditions:
Ownership
Evoq Design agrees to sign over all rights associated with ownership and usage of materials developed by Evoq Design to the customer upon receipt of final payment for said materials. Until that time Evoq Design retains and reserves all rights to any content created by Evoq Design as set forth by the Copyright Laws of the United States of America (Title 17 U.S.C., et seq., and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act). Once full payment is received by Evoq Design, all rights to the final product, full and unrestricted, will be released to the customer for use in all media, in all markets, for unlimited period of time.
Evoq Design retains and reserves the rights to use any and all content developed by Evoq Design, regardless of ownership, for display and self-promotional purposes.
Payment
1. Upon acceptance of Design Proposal, Evoq Design will secure a Creative Deposit (down payment) in the amount of US$50 to cover initial set-up expenses.
2. After review of mock-ups and/or proofs and acceptance thereof, payment is due in an amount equal to one half of the total order. This will cover expenses including, but not limited to the following:
order processing;
acquiring specialized software or hardware required to complete the job;
research, creation and development time;
intellectual and proprietary materials attained for and utilized in developmental stages.
The initial fee is non-refundable and does not include final usage rights, which will be released upon receipt of final payment. Customer's final product will be made available and full usage rights will be granted upon final approval and payment.
3. If the project scope is extended during the initial order fullfilment, Evoq Design may secure intermediary payments in amount agreed with the customer, but not exceeding one half of the additional purchase amount. The intermediary fees are non-refundable and do not include final usage rights, which will be released upon receipt of final payment.
4. Upon the customer's approval of the final product, Evoq Design will secure a final payment. Upon receipt of final payment, all rights to the final product, full and unrestricted, will be released to the customer for use in all media, in all markets, for unlimited period of time.
5. Customer can choose to terminate their project at any time. In this event, no additional charges will be collected by Evoq Design. The customer retains no rights to any of the design work we have completed for them, and Evoq Design retains full ownership of all work completed on the project.
Turn-around
Initial design concepts will presented within 3-10 business days following the receipt of your order and down payment, depending on the service ordered. Revisions are made within 2-10 business days, depending on the service ordered. The final product will be delivered by electronic means in 1 business day upon receipt of the final payment.
Copyright Issues
Evoq Design provides no guarantee of copyright to customer. Customer assumes responsibility of obtaining Trademark or Copyright of any material created by Evoq Design. Evoq Design assumes no liability in the event that customer is unable to obtain Trademark or Copyright of said material for any reason.

How Our Design Process Works
1. The Online Fast Quote Order Form
Start by filling out an online Fast Quote Request. This information helps us achieve two important goals. First, it's what we use to work up a proposal and a design budget for your project. Second, the Fast Quote points us in the right direction for research, content generation and overall style. Details like color scheme, competitor information, industry background, and your general navigational, layout and design tastes are important in getting to know you and your project. The more you tell us, the better we understand your marketing goals and the image you want to project with your new visual identity. Because our designs are 100% custom, we need to know as much as we possibly can about your business, your tastes and your goal before we begin work.
2. Processing Your Order
After you submit your order form, we will generate your Design Proposal. It will be emailed to you within 2 business days as an Adobe Reader PDF (Adobe Reader is a free program most people already have installed). Evoq's Design Proposal can be reshaped depending on our dialog, until your project scope and price-point are reached. Upon acceptance of our Porposal, a $50 Creative Deposit is due. When we receive your payment, we'll send you a confirmation email. If we have questions, need more information, or are missing promised content, we'll contact you. Now we're ready to begin designing your project!
3. Your Initial Designs
Your first designs usually arrive within 7 business days for logos (14 for web sites) from accepting our Proposal. For web sites, During those 7 to 14 days, our designers will research your market and competition, have creative discussions and brainstorms, and sketch out multiple preliminary designs and layouts of your logo, graphic or website. The winning designs will be approved by an art director and sent to the email address specified in your Fast Quote. Evaluating the drafts is an important step in the design process, so please take all the time you need to consider them.
4. Revisions
The success of your marketing effort, and immediate growth of your sales and profits through a sound visual identity is our main goal and top priority. Please don't hesitate to request any changes at this point. Furthermore, the initial designs may inspire new ideas in you, and lead to a change of the design direction. We will be happy to revise our work to help assure it will make maximum impact on your clients. There are no extra charges for revisions.
5. Approval
When you give us your approval, we swing into high gear and generate your entire project for final review. With your OK, we will email your graphic or logo in a full set of standard graphic formats, print your material or launch your website. Your set of graphics will include files for desktop publishing, professional printing, for use in magazine ads, on the Web, in TV commercials, or any other purpose. Any additional formats you may require will be prepared and delivered at no extra charge. Your complete manual, catalog or website will be delivered to you on CD ROM. Upon final delivery of your project and it's assets, the second half of the total quoted amount of your Design Proposal is due. Your project is complete! 6. Launch

how payment works
All design jobs start with one-third of the total project cost to cover domain-name registration, DNS configuration, hosting setup, design comps, mockups - whatever groundwork needs to be laid to begin development of your project. When you approve your design's "look and feel", a second third is due and your mockup will be transformed into a fully-functional marketing piece and polished to completion. The final third is due upon delivery, launching or publication of the completed project.

How many designs will you send me to choose from?
We will send you 3-4 initial designs to start our conversation. Once you review the designs, you will be able to choose one of them as either a basis for further development or as a springboard to help explain to us why these designs don't work for you. With a better understanding of your needs, we will continue sending you more refined drafts until you see one which better suits your goals, both stylistically and functionally.
Are there extra fees for royalty-free images, basic graphics or retouching photos?
No. All site design packages include these features as part of the project cost. As a result, you don't have to worry about extra "hidden" charges being tacked on to turn your budget upside-down.
When will I receive initial designs?
For a logo design, you will receive your first proofs in 3 business days or earlier. For a website layout, you should receive a PDF version or a link to a clickable mockup within 2 weeks. All other projects (except catalogs and manuals) fall between 3 days to 2 weeks, depending on who supplies the content.

Your location is never a problem - we do work for companies anywhere a computer can be plugged in. The Internet allows us to work with clients in any country in the world via email, FTP service, WebDAV or the delivery service of your choice.
How does payment work?
All design jobs start with a $100 good-faith Creative Deposit to cover domain-name registration, hosting setup, DNS configuration, design comp mockups - whatever groundwork needs to be laid to begin your project. When you approve your design's "look and feel", half of the total project amount is due. When this is received, your mockup will be transformed into a functional marketing piece and polished to completion. The other half is due upon delivery or publication of the completed project.
Who owns the copyright to my project?
You will receive complete ownership rights to your digital or print investment upon final payment.
You will receive a License Number that can be used to access an online worksheet. The worksheet will gather your contact information, register a domain name, and gather the content for your site. Once the worksheet has been completed, the Design Team will review your worksheet and you will be contacted to start the design process. Please make sure that your contact information is correct in the order. If we are unable to contact you, your account will be labeled as inactive and will remain so until you contact us. You may re-enable it at any time you are ready.
Design will not begin until all content is received. The 7 - 10 day time-frame does not start until the last item of content is received. 2
What is content?
Content is all of the text, company logos, and digital images that you would like to include in your website. Product images and information may be included if they are to be used on one of the site pages.
